Langley Chase Organic Lamb and Mutton
We only sell meat from our organic rare breed Manx
Loaghtan flock, cared for and managed by us on our
farm. We provide total traceability, from pasture to plate.
Lambs are reared slowly and naturally on our organic herb
and wild flower rich pastures.
It takes around seven months for Autumn
Lamb to mature, 12 months for Year
Lamb and three years or more for Mutton.
Animals are individually selected according to the customer's
requirements. They are traditionally hung from between seven
to 14 days, before being professionally butchered to the customer's
order by a Soil Association accredited Master Butcher. We
believe it is our duty, out of respect to our animals, to
ensure that they are butchered as expertly as possible.
Bespoke service
We want our customers to experience our lamb and mutton in
a way that suits them best. From special occasions and dinner
parties to family meals and summer barbeques, we provide an
individual service to all our customers. A range of great
recipes is available.
Packaging and delivery
The cuts for each order are labeled individually and are packed
ready for cooking or freezing in an insulated cool box. Orders
can be delivered direct to the customer's door, or picked
up free from Langley Chase.
